Model Simone Holtznagel appeared to lose a $75,000 diamond earring during her luxury break to the Maldives with her boyfriend Jono Castano.
At least that’s what some of her fans thought when she posted a clip on Instagram on Sunday, showing her playfully quoting a famous scene from Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Simone was jokingly pushed into the ocean by boyfriend Jono, before she started lip-syncing the famous scene where Kim lost a diamond earring during a trip to Bora Bora after her then-husband Kris Humphries tossed her into the water.
‘I’m going to have such a headache, my earrings gone, omg I’m going to cry,’ Simone said as Jono jumped in to help.
‘My diamond earring. Seriously. It’s not funny. That’s $75,000,’ Simone continued.

As the loved-up couple played out the scene, Simone continued to complain.
‘We’re not going to find it in the ocean. My diamond earring came off in the ocean and now it’s gone,’ Simone mouthed.
The clip then cut to Jono, playing the role of Kris Jenner, giving Simone a reminder of perspective.
‘Kim, there’s people that are dying,’ he said.

A number of the couple’s celebrity friends thought the clip was hilarious.
‘Hahahahahh this is so goood,’ reality star Bettina Banks wrote. ‘Omg,’ model Montana Cox added.
‘This is hilarious. You guys nailed it and must have had such a hoot whilst doing so!’ yet another added.
Jono and Simone have been sharing photos of their tropical escape for days, including a stay at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island resort.

They are believed to be staying in the Muraka Residence, an ultra-private abode complete with its own lap pool, gym and an underwater bedroom.
It costs a whopping $11,990 per night to stay at the room with the rate including breakfast.
It is believed the trip could be a sponsored post for the influencers, with the pair tagging the resort and using the resorts hashtags on Instagram.

While at the resort, the pair have enjoyed plenty of fun in the sun, such as enjoying wines by the beach and romantic rides in a seaplane.
