Former actress and writer Donna Preston has revealed she had a secret feud while shooting Channel 4’s Scared Of The Dark with Chris Eubank.
Donna, 36, who first appeared in Coronation Street back in 2018 said she didn’t meet eye to eye with the boxing legend, 56.
While Donna has made her mark in the world of television and now even movies, the soap star has spoken candidly about her behind the scenes feud with Chris.
The sportsman has not spoken out against Donna’s accusation yet, but the actress revealed he disliked her on set from day one.
Despite shooting for the show together, it appears that Donna didn’t know who was participating alongside her.

Aside from her role as Den in Corrie, she has featured in Pants On Fire in 2019 and even wrote and co-produced BBC Three’s Comedy Threesomes.
From 2019 to 2020, Donna has participated in numerous comedy sketches for Channel 4, like Popping Up and now she’s doing Channel 4’s Scared Of The Dark alongside other celebrities including football star Paul Gascoigne, Love Island’s Chloe Burrows, and The Wanted’s Max George.

Speaking about her feud with boxing legend Chris, Donna revealed she had no idea who the other contestants on show were going to be.
She said, ‘We didn’t know who was going to be in there – I think I knew everyone.
‘But with Chris Eubank, I was like, “Oh my god, it’s Chris Eubank, this is amazing,’ she added.
‘But he shot me down. I think I was like, “Oh my f***ing god, absolute legend,” and he was like, “Absolutely not.”‘
Donna felt he had hated her from day one but she added, ‘That’s okay, that’s okay, some people don’t like me.’

What did the other contestants think of Chris?
While other celebrities including comedian Chris McCausland said that being in a confined space with Chris had its challenges.
He added, ‘It’s difficult as you kind of have an idea of what Chris Eubank is link and he is exactly like that but he didn’t surprise me but he was more Chris Eubank than Chris Eubank would be.’
Speaking further, Chris said that he and other contestants spent a day handcuffed to him, adding that he ‘couldn’t get away from him’.

What else did Donna say ahead of taking part?
‘My worry is breaking something, injuring myself. Yeah, that’s my fear because I can imagine it. So you’re just taking tiny little steps, because I will be.
‘I’ll be tense and then I’ll just have all these knots and s**t going on. I’ll get out and I’ll literally be solid. Yeah, so I think my biggest concern is breaking something. And also, because we’re trained to think that the dark is bedtime, I hope that I’m just not constantly sleeping because that would be horrific wouldn’t it?
‘I’d be like, “Guys, I’m sorry. I can’t function.” It’s going to be interesting. Also a massive challenge, but a good challenge.
‘Because God forbid, touch wood, if anything does ever happen in life that, I don’t know, you lose your vision or something like that, then this is a massive training programme, I guess.
‘You have to think of stuff like that, but I mean, hopefully I won’t lose my vision.’
