‘World’s sexiest volleyball player’ Kayla Simmons hits back at boob job claims as she shares the struggle of being a curvy athlete
Athlete Kayla Simmons has hit back at boob job rumours while admitting she used to wish she had smaller assets.
The social media star, who found fame as a college volleyball player, shared a Q&A YouTube video in which she spoke about her struggle playing with a large chest.
When asked: ‘How much silicone did you get?’ Kayla laughed and said: ‘I got zero silicone. I’m all natural, I’m sick of answering that one but yeah.’
Kayla went on to stress how growing up with big boobs actually hindered her as an athlete and she used to wish she had a smaller chest.
She explained: ‘It’s funny because in middle school, I actually wished to have small boobs… I wanted small boobs because it would have made everything easier for volleyball. But I did not get that wish.’

She added: ‘I feel like you can’t jump as high, you can’t run as fast, like it hurts to dive, everything is harder.’
Kayla previously revealed that her large assets also meant she was subject to sexist bodyshaming remarks.
Kayla played in the NCAA Division during her time at Marshall University and while she no longer plays professionally she still enjoys taking part in the sport.
After building up a large online following she now works as a social media star and OnlyFans model.
In 2019 she made a bid to become a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model by posting her casting video online.
Detailing her experience as a curvy athlete, she captioned the post: ‘Being a former college athlete & growing up around sports has taught me to push myself to the limit.
‘College athletics was a great experience for me, but it also taught me some valuable lessons.
‘I was told by my school administrators that the pictures I post are inappropriate because of my body, I was even asked to delete my Instagram at one point.’

She continued: ‘I was torn bc I felt I couldn’t embrace my body & play the sport I love. I’ve since learned that you can’t let other people affect how you feel about yourself.
‘It was kind of shocking I guess cause I was following all the rules of a student-athlete at Marshall.
‘They really just made me feel ashamed I guess, of my body. I felt like I had to choose if I wanted to be an athlete or feeling confident and being able to feel beautiful.’
Speaking to The New York Post, she added: ‘I didn’t really aspire to be a swimsuit model. I did some modeling when I was younger, and I loved going to the beach and taking pictures.
‘I hope that young women just know that it’s okay to just be yourself and feel confident.
‘I think you should always stand up for yourself and what you believe in and never let someone make you feel ashamed of your body, and don’t let other people affect how you feel about yourself, and be proud of who you are.’
