Chelsea fans are all saying the same thing about Mykhailo Mudryk after tonight’s 6-0 win against Everton.

Mauricio Pochettino watched his attack run riot at Stamford Bridge tonight, particularly in the first half with Cole Palmer netting a hat-trick inside just 29 minutes.

Nicolas Jackson also shone with a goal and an assist while Noni Madueke caused the Toffees problems down the right flank too – but Mykhailo Mudryk was noticeably quiet as his fellow attackers delivered.

So, what have Chelsea fans been saying about the Ukraine international after his uneventful performance against Everton? Let’s take a look…

Chelsea fans react to Mykhailo Mudryk performance against Everton

Well, some Chelsea fans were far from impressed with Mudryk’s display against Everton.

It was only the Ukrainian’s 11th start in the Premier League out of a possible 31 this season, so he clearly still has a lot to prove to Pochettino.

Unfortunately, the Argentine probably wouldn’t have been left feeling blown away by Mudryk’s efforts.

As shown by WhoScored, the Chelsea No.10 registered only one shot on target, and also embarked on just one dribble – which is particularly disappointing given the fact many would consider this to be his strong point.

Mudryk, who Marc Cucurella recently called a “hero” on social media, also registered six unsuccessful touches against Everton, while committing a foul too – there were also zero defensive contributions, such as tackles, interceptions, blocks or clearances.

There was one encouraging run which should have earned the 23-year-old an assist after he slotted Palmer in, only for Jordan Pickford to keep it out on that occasion.

Of course, you can sympathise with Mudryk when he finds himself up against the likes of Kyle Walker, Virgil van Dijk and William Saliba, for example, but Everton allowed Chelsea’s frontline all sorts of space tonight, so it’s a shame that he failed to take advantage.

Had the £88.5m man torn Everton apart like Palmer did, he might have forced his way into the South American’s thinking in terms of his starting XI at Wembley.

However, we would be very surprised if Pochettino now decides to start Mudryk – who has been told he could play as a striker – in such a significant match after his underwhelming efforts against Sean Dyche’s side.
