Dylan and Jenny’s Block home FINALLY sells three months after it was passed in at auction – but mystery surrounds the sale price or whether it reached the $4.08million reserve

Dylan Adams and Jenny Heath have finally sold their house from The Block after it was passed in at auction when it failed to meet the $4.08million reserve.

Three months after the infamous auction, which saw two houses fail to sell, 9Now announced on Tuesday the final home had been bought through private treaty.

A Channel Nine spokesperson confirmed the Gisborne property went to a family ‘in what is a positive outcome for everyone’, but would not disclose a sale price.

‘Dylan and Jenny’s house is now a much-loved property for a family who were impressed with the high standard of the build, and incredible views of the Macedon Ranges so close to Melbourne,’ the network said.

‘All five properties on the most ambitious build in the history of The Block have now been sold. We look forward to starting the build on the next series of Channel Nine’s The Block very soon.’

Channel Nine has yet to announce how much House 4 sold for, but has indicated the figure will not be made public due to it being a private sale.

Last year’s auction day on The Block saw one house sale net a record-breaking $1.6million profit for Omar Slaimankhel and Ozman ‘Oz’ Abu Malik.

Tom Calleja and Sarah-Jane Wilson barely made it over reserve, and Rachel and Ryan Carr passed their house in to negotiate a profit of just under $170,000.

Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra from House 3 also passed in but, like Dylan and Jenny, failed to find a buyer for their house.

Thankfully, high-stakes bidder Adrian Portelli swooped in to save the day weeks later, snapping up Sharon and Ankur’s home for his promotions business.

Their property has since been given away to Ballarat couple Kevin and Andrea in a LMCT+ raffle.

The Block will return to Channel Nine later this year.
