Manchester United have submitted an offer of £43million, plus add-ons for goalkeeper Andre Onana, talkSPORT understands.
The Red Devils lodged a verbal offer worth £38million for the goalkeeper which fell short of Inter Milan’s £50m valuation.

The Serie A giants remain willing to negotiate and talks over the transfer are ongoing.
The feeling at Old Trafford is that the £45m package will be enough to get the deal done with Onana keen on the move.
United are in the market for a new goalkeeper with Onana being a trusted figure to head coach Ten Hag following their time together at Ajax.
The 27-year-old moved to the San Siro on a free transfer last summer, meaning that Inter would be in line for a huge profit should they sanction the sale to the Premier League.
Onana’s future will also have a knock-on effect on the plans of David de Gea.
The Spanish goalkeeper is now a free agent after his Man United contract expired on June 30 after terms for a new deal weren’t signed off.
Talks remain ongoing between De Gea and Man United, however that deal could very much depend on negotiations with Inter Milan over Onana.
