The reporter and Cassandra Thorburn, a journalist, were introduced in 1995 at a party in Rockhampton. They later got married and had three kids together. Stefanovic and his wife, who had been married for 21 years, were discovered to have split up in September 2016, and their divorce was officially finalized in October 2017.
Later, Jasmine Yarbrough and the reporter announced their engagement to the public in February 2018. In a Mexican wedding in December 2018, he wed Yarbrough. They are parents to a single child. On a friend’s boat in Sydney, Karl enjoyed a beautiful afternoon and met Australian shoe designer Jasmine Yarbrough, who would go on to become his second wife and the mother of his fourth child.
