Police are appealing to the public for help identifying a man caught on CCTV robbing a Sunshine Coast takeaway restaurant in February.

Around 10pm on February 13, a man rode a white mountain bike to the front of a suburban Thai restaurant in Beerwah, Queensland.

Police said the man in the video walked into the store, stole cash from the till.

The store’s owner confronted the man, but he pushed her out of the way as he ran out of the store.

The man then rode away on the mountain bike, heading west on Peachester Road.

He was described as tall and slim.

Police said he was wearing all-black clothing, a face mask depicting a skull, and no bicycle helmet.

Police have asked any witnesses who recognise the man, or have information they could share with detectives to contact the police.
