Police are searching for four men after two white vans smashed through the glass doors of a shopping centre in an attempt at stealing an ATM in Sydney’s west.

Security vision shows one van ramming through the doors before ramming ino the ATM several times at a shopping centre on Merrylands Road in Greystanes about 4.20am.

“Four men are seen on CCTV near the ATM for a brief time, before fleeing in the vehicle, while another vehicle follows closely behind,” NSW Police said in a statement.

Police say both vans had stolen number plates attached to homes in Fairfield and Guildford West.

Greystanes Shopping Centre said no one was hurt in the ram raid.

“Several retailers are currently impacted by the incident and are currently closed for trade,” a spokesperson for the shopping centre said in a statement.

“Centre management are working with NSW Police and the entry impacted will be closed until further notice.”
