Stalker ‘moved into hotel to be near model victim after bombarding her with inappropriate messages’

A stalker moved into a hotel to be close to his fashion model victim after bombarding her with inappropriate messages and emails, a court has heard.

Timothy Behrsin, 39, is alleged to have caused serious alarm by stalking Bareface model Katerina Irma Prihogyko between March 16 and September 11 last year.

He appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today charged with two counts of stalking without fear, alarm and distress and stalking involving serious alarm and distress.

Behrsin is alleged to have had a substantial adverse effect on Ms Prihogyko’s day-to-day activities.

The charges state: ‘You pursued a course of conduct, namely on each occasion in sent her a large number of unwanted and inappropriate messages and emails and lived in a hotel in London to live closer to her, which amounted to stalking.’

He was bailed ahead of a hearing at Isleworth Crown Court on March 2.

Chair magistrate Eve Brenner told the court: ‘This case now going to be sent to the crown court.

‘You are therefore on bail on the condition you do no contact directly or indirectly Katerina Prihogyko, this includes social media or asking anyone else to contact her on your behalf.

‘It’s important you’re not brought back to court having breached that bail.’

Behrsin, of Wrights Lane, Kensington, has not yet entered a plea to the charges.
