A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital after he was allegedly stabbed outside a fast food restaurant north of Brisbane.

Police were called to a McDonald’s carpark at Deception Bay around 9.30pm yesterday following reports of an assault involving a group of people.

9News understands that during the alleged fight, a teenage boy was stabbed in the face, neck and chest.

Two McDonald’s workers are believed to have then rushed to the boy’s aid and provided first aid until paramedics arrived.

He was rushed to hospital in serious condition.

A witness told 9News she heard a string of swear words and shouting from the group.

“I didn’t know what was going on, I thought it was a fight,” she said.

Police have charged a 16-year-old boy charged with wounding and a 13-year-old with possessing a knife in a public place.

9News understands both teens are known to authorities.
