Three men have been charged for allegedly operating a sophisticated $5 million drug ring out of Sydney‘s west.

A strike force was established in 2023 to investigate cocaine supply from a high-profile criminal network using the “dial-a-dealer” method, where a dealer is called and a meeting place is decided on to make the exchange.

Three key members of the ring were identified for allegedly running the drugs.

Officers yesterday stormed three properties in Bass Hill and Parramatta, where three vehicles, multiple mobile phones, about $10,000 worth of luxury and designer goods, about $2000 cash and other relevant items were seized.

“Police will allege in court the syndicate were responsible for selling approximately 500 ‘bags’ of cocaine a week, generating approximately $5 million a year,” police said today.

Dramatic police vision showed a 22-year-old man being arrested at Bass Hill.

He was taken to Bankstown Police Station and charged with 13 offences including five counts of supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis and participating in a criminal group.

He was refused bail and appeared before court today.

At the Parramatta address, a 24-year-old man and 26-year-old man were arrested and taken to Granville Police Station, where they were both charged with seven offences.

The pair were granted strict conditional bail and will face court in April.

Strike force investigations continue as police urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
