Two men have been arrested after a woman's body was found in regional Victoria.

The body of a 23-year-old Clunes woman was found near State Forests Road, Scarsdale, south-west of Ballarat, on April 5.

Two Sebastopol men, aged 21 and 22, are assisting police with inquiries.

A crime scene has been established.
