The alleged rampage began when police received reports a woman had damaged a car in the carpark of a hotel on Woodford Road in Elizabeth North about 2.15pm yesterday.
Police alleged she fled the scene before throwing a brick at the window of a car waiting at the intersection of Main North Road and Midway Road.
The 24-year-old also allegedly tried to get into the car by headbutting the window but the driver had locked their doors and she walked away.
Officers scoured the area for her before she was found on Yorktown Road in Elizabeth Park.
Police said the woman allegedly “violently resisted and assaulted the two officers biting them on the arm and forearm” as they attempted to arrest her.
“Further patrols were called to assist where a third officer was assaulted and the woman was arrested,” police said.
“Both officers who were bitten were taken to hospital for treatment of their injuries and have since been released. The third officer is seeking medical treatment this morning.”
The woman, from Davoren Park, was charged with three counts of assaulting an emergency worker to cause harm, three counts of hindering police, damage, vehicle interference, carrying an offensive weapon, and throwing a missile.
She has been refused police bail and will appear in court today.
