Popular iced coffee brand loved by tradies and sold at servos across Australia is AXED
- Barista Bros drinks discontinued
- Production of drinks stopped in May
- No plans for a ‘direct replacement’
A popular iced coffee drink loved by Aussie tradies has been scrapped from supermarket shelves.
The iconic Barista Bros drinks will no longer be available in supermarkets, takeaway shops and petrol stations across the country.
Coca Cola Australia confirmed it had ceased production of the iced coffee and chocolate milk drinks in May this year.
Coca Cola advised there are no plans for a ‘direct replacement’ of the drink line despite the Barista Bros brand still advertised on the Coca Cola Australia website.
Barista Bros offered a range of iced coffee and chocolate milk drinks.

Coca Cola Australia told Daily Mail Australia the decision to discontinue the line was ‘difficult’.
‘We continuously review our product portfolio to ensure we’re offering more of what people love,’ Coca Cola Australia said.
‘After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue Barista Bros in Australia.
‘The production of Barista Bros for the Australian market ceased in May 2023.
‘The decision will allow us to continue to focus on our core portfolio of products and provide even more of what consumers enjoy.
‘Coca-Cola Australia offers a wide range of beverages to cater to different consumer tastes.
‘While there won’t be a direct replacement for Barista Bros at this time, Coca-Cola Australia offers a range of soft drinks, waters, sports drinks, juice, mixers and teas.’
Barista Bros drinks came in four flavours – Espresso, Double espresso, Mocha and Iced Chocolate – and were available at Woolworths, Coles, IGA and ALDI.
The beverages were also available at independent retailers, in vending machines and petrol stations nationally, making it a popular drink with tradies needing their daily caffeine hit.
In May, Food Standards Australia issued a recall for all Barista Bros drinks with a ‘best before’ date from September 2023 and onward.
The recall was sparked by a potential contamination risk caused by a packaging failure.
‘Food products that have been spoiled may cause illness if consumed,’ Food Standards Australia New Zealand said.
All four flavours of the drinks were included in the recall.
