A Rhode Island man who was arrested in June and accused of stealing sex toys from women in a string of bizarre robberies is back in custody this time accused of peeing in through a mother’s window as she changed her baby’s diapers.

Benjamin Nawdrowski, 32, told arresting in officers on July 21st that he was merely exercising outside of the woman’s home and smoking a cigarette when she saw him and called the police, reports WPRI.

The suspect, who says on his Facebook page that he is the father of two boys and that he has been sober since 2021, also said that he knew the area where he was exercising because he made food deliveries in that community.

‘I wasn’t looking into anybody’s windows, I swear to God!,’ Nadrowski can be heard saying in a bodycam video released to the public. Witnesses say that the suspect had a female passenger in the car with him when he exited in order to look in through the window.

Nawdrowski is facing disorderly charges on top of the breaking and entering counts he is charged with in relation to the sex toy thefts in June.

At the time of his June arrest, the suspect said that he was planning to give the stolen items to a female friend as a gift.

He had been out of bail but due to the July arrest, Nawdrowski is now being held without bond.

In June, Nawdrowski told arresting officers about why he was in the area where the sex toy thefts took place, including that he was searching for items that were being discarded by college students heading home for the summer and that he was in the area to buy weed.

During one attempted robbery, he was confronted by a tenant of the home who chased him away. That tenant later called the police after he saw Nawdrowski’s car in the area again later that night.

According to his Facebook page, Nawdrowski said that he works for Walmart and is a resident of East Providence, Rhode Island.

Online records show that this is not Nawdrowski’s first brush with the law, in 2012 and 2013, he was accused of physically attacking his then-wife.

In the 2012 incident, he admitted to officers that he consumed 12 beers prior to the altercation. A year later, police were called to his home after he was accused of striking his wife with his elbow.

The pair were set to have gotten to an argument over selling items on Craigslist that ended up with Nawdrowski being accused of cheating by his wife.
