An 83-year-old man in Berlin has killed a tourist and her four-year-old child in front of terrified relatives.
The driver, who had been speeding before the collision, smashed into the mother who was pushing her child in a pram across the road.
The woman’s partner and sister witnessed the horrifying crash and were taken to hospital where they were treated for shock.
The family had been visiting from Belgium and were crossing the road near a busy shopping centre,
The 41-year-old mother died in hospital and despite an emergency operation, her son died the same evening the German news agency dpa reported.

Police confirmed the 83-year-old had been speeding ahead of the deadly accident.
James Klein, a press spokesman for the Berlin fire brigade, said the car ran into the woman as she crossed the road with her child.
According to police, the 83-year-old driver was taken to a hospital but was released after treatment.
