Dan Skelton talks to Racing TV
With the standing start, he got a great start.
A great ride. We wanted to come to this race last year, we didn’t think he would win. But I thought he had a chance tofday – no more than a chance. It was a great ride.
He’s been the bridesmaid so often.

Queen Mother Champion Chase: RESULTS
Next up on ITV Racing, it’s Henry De Bromhead
It’s going to take a while to sink in, but at the same time we’re thrilled. delighted. Delighted for Rachael as well.
I wonder if Willie Mullins feels he tempted fate, somewhat, with his comments before the race.
WATCH: Captain Guinness pips Gentleman De Mee after a heroic effort
Rachael Blackmore talks to ITV Racing
He travelled incredibly, he jumped really well, the hill felt like a long hill today, but it’s just incredible.
He’s been knocking on the day in these big races, but this is the biggest of his division. He’s done so well!
He’s incredible, it’s a pleasure riding him. Some race to win.
It’s just incredible (to win the Champion Chase) and I’m so happy to do it with this horse. He always runs his race, and a great horse to ride, really enthusiastic. It’s magic.

Coral Cup: RESULTS
Winner number two for the British
WATCH: The Coral Cup’s historic winner!
Harry Skelton talks to ITV Racing
He’s brilliant. 12 months planning. He hasn’t had it all sailing…
But to be fair, got him out on the grass the last few weeks, working, and come alive.
The more you put him in the race (he’s stronger) – he’s an easy horse, if he’s bumped and banged around.
Langer Dan wins the Coral Cup!

Harry Cobden talks Stay Away Fay on ITV Racing
I wanted to go, and needed enough gallop.
Everything felt very laboured from the first circuit.
I’ll speak to the boss. Might consider Punchestown.
Mark Walsh speaks to ITV Racing
He jumped and travelled so well, he took me down the hill, I didn’t want to go too soon.
This is a class horse now. The decision to go straight to fences was class.
Hopefully we have a good one on our hands.
Whatever he’s saying…
Owner JP McManus speaks to ITV Racing
He was on his toes a bit before, and I think Mark did a great job to get him settled, and he’ll learn a lot from the race. It’s a relief.
It’s all in front of him. He’s vindicated.

He is fired up, he’s ready to go.
Confidence is high, it always is. We’re just hoping we can get off the mark with our second runner.

Ballyburn’s trainer Willie Mullins speaks to ITV Racing
It’s the first time he’s wowed me.
That was, to me, a Champion Hurdle performance. Really spectacular.
With his size, scope and pedigree, maybe the owners will decide to go chasing with him next year. But really, he could go anywhere.
Quite the race from Jimmy Du Seuil

It’s not too bold a statement…
Brighton – and Ile Atlantique – owner Tony Bloom speaks to ITV Racing
It’s going to be very tough, but (Ile Atlantique) goes in good form, he’s working well at home, and we’ve come in good confidence.
I think immediately! He assured me all winter he was going to go for the Supreme… and three days ago he declares for the Novices’ Hurdle!
I think winning the Premier League is almost impossible for a club like Brighton, with all the other top teams, and their budgets.
But we keep going, one stage at a time.
Runners and riders for the Gallagher Novices’ Hurdle
Classy Ballyburn’s race to lose
NON-RUNNERS: In full
A dire first day for the British
We’re not perfect in Ireland, but there’s really problems here.
The panic button is definitely flashing. We all care, we want to get the competitiveness back, not just from Ireland, but from one yard.
I’m hoping over the next few days, I’m not thinking we can catch up – but hopefully we can close the gap.
