EXCL: Ioan Gruffudd grin and bears the drama as his teenage daughter files a restraining order

Ioan Gruffudd and his girlfriend Bianca Wallace were seen happily strolling down the street in Los Angeles after his 13-year-old daughter Ella filed a restraining order against them. 

Gruffudd, 49, and his 29-year-old girlfriend were seen walking down Orlando Boulevard in Los Angeles with their dog. 

The Titanic actor dressed in a monochrome black outfit, wearing loose-fitting slacks and a zip-up jacket with a crisp white t-shirt underneath and white tennis shoes. 

Wallace matched her beau in black leggings and a skintight black long-sleeve shirt. She also wore a pair of white tennis shoes. 

Ella, who Gruffudd shares with actress Alice Evans, filed the temporary restraining order on May 31 at the Los Angeles Superior Court. She has also applied for civil harassment protection from Gruffudd’s girlfriend Wallace.

The application will be heard in court on June 23.

It’s understood that the restraining order request was filed following an incident at Gruffudd and Wallace’s home in Los Angeles last week while Ella and her younger sister Elsie were visiting.

It’s the latest extraordinary development in a domestic drama that began when Gruffudd walked out on his then-wife Evans in 2021 after a 14-year marriage.

Gruffudd, the British star of ITV’s Liar and The Fantastic Four, and Evans, star of 102 Dalmatians, have been fighting a bitter divorce battle.

He already has a restraining order out against his estranged wife, which prevents her from mentioning him on social media for three years.

Both are seeking custody of the children, and both say they have no money.

Last month the $2million marital home in Los Angeles was sold at Gruffudd’s request after he said he no longer had the funds to pay for it.

Evans and the children moved to a new, rented, address.

Gruffudd met aspiring actress Wallace in Australia while shooting the series Harrow.

They now live together in Los Angeles and Wallace, who has multiple sclerosis, recently gave a magazine interview about her condition and ‘Yo’s’ support and love for her.

He and Evans announced that their marriage was over in January 2021 and he went public with his new romance that October.

Gruffudd filed for joint custody of his two daughters last July after Evans filed for sole custody amid their acrimonious divorce.

As well as requesting visitation rights, he claimed in the filing that Evans had been purposely trying to cut communication between him and his children.

He also petitioned that the girls attend in-person therapy and reunification therapy via zoom with him pending court-ordered mediation about custody.

In court filings, Gruffudd accused Evans of verbally abusing him during their marriage, and ‘undermining him’ in front of the girls throughout their lives.’

‘Alice made fun of my appearance often, making hair-loss comments and telling me I had ”saggy-vagina eyes,”’ court papers read.

He went on to claim that Evans ‘has inflicted serious emotional harm on Ella and Elsie by her statements and by interfering in my relationship with them.’

In March this year, charges that Evans had violated her restricting order were dropped.
