Follow Mail Sport’s live blog for the latest news, updates and comments made at the Red Bull F1 car launch today.

Red Bull are the 10th and final team to reveal their 2024 F1 car this evening, February 15. The world champions will unveil RB20 at their head quarters in Milton Keynes with Red Bull boss Christian Horner set to attend the launch amid recent allegations about inappropriate behaviour.

Horner is riding out the storm, but his wife Halliwell is reportedly having a tougher time of it – describing being at the centre of a hurricane since news of Red Bull’s investigation broke as being like a ‘living nightmare’.

Christian Horner’s interview: in full

Perez’s first thoughts on the RB20

Red Bull have said they’ve taken a more ‘aggressive’ line with their designs for this season, and the car certainly looks ferocious in its evergreen livery.

You can see that the team has done an incredible job. We’ve gone very aggressive with the concept, so I’m looking forward to it.

I find it great from Red Bull that we’ve had such a dominant car last year, that we just changed completely our concept. It’s something that I think requires a lot of hunger in the team, to keep pushing all the boundaries. Will be interesting to see how everything feels on track.

What next for Red Bull?

We’re galloping at pace towards the start of the season now, with all 10 cars for across the grid revealed ahead of testing in Bahrain.

That will start in the Gulf state on February 21, and run for three days until the final practice on February 23.

The first race weekend of the 2024 campaign kicks off a week later, on February 29.

Horner was in the building for more press interviews around Red Bull’s launch, but the focus was less on the RB20 and more on the roiling investigation into his alleged ‘inappropriate behaviour’.

Max Verstappen shares his thoughts on whether he’ll nab his fourth title in the RB20

I guess time will tell. I’m excited. It’s always very nice to see a new car come to life, all the people around it.

For me, it’s about looking forward to Bahrain, to get testing, get comfortable.

It’s going to be a long season, and we just want to hit the ground running.

Breaking: Without further ado, the RB20!

Newey talks up last year’s RB19

The RB19 was really an evolution of the 18. Last year’s car was a total surprise in terms of response.

On our side, we just concentrated on improving some of the weaknesess, and to our complete shock, by half-season it was becoming pretty clear we had a march on our competitors.

You have to keep pushing. We’ve made some improvements in all areas. Is that enough? We will have to see.

Up next, the legendary Adrian Newey

Coulthard waxes lyrical on the chief technology officer’s myriad achievements.

Adrian has been incredibly successful through his entire career. The thing I love about Adrian is not just his creativity, but he’s a racer. Maybe he doesn’t have the same success as Max Verstappen, (but he’s out there).

That simplicity has clearly been very successful for him and his team.

Coulthard also shares that the iconic designer still works with a pencil at a drawing board. Old school.

Horner on team culture

It’s everything. The men and women here at milton keynes, all the people behind the scenes. It’s out of these industrial buildings that we’ve created these incredible cars.

For me, Formula 1 is a team sport, and it’s the people that are the single biggest assets.

Horner and Coulthard take to the stage

First up, Christian Horner and David Coulthard, who shares his own journey to joining Red Bull.

When I met with Dietrich Mateschitz it was clear, this was more than just a marketing exercise.

When we had that first meeting, they said “our goal is to win a world championship”

When we started it was just a few hundred at the end of the road, now we have the whole campus.

David was such an important part of the start of Red Bull racing, and look at him now 20 years later, still associated with the team.

We’re live from Milton Keynes

The constructors set the scene with some slick footage of the cars under tarps in a warehouse, before cutting to them speeding through the mean streets of Milton Keynes.

Anticipation is reaching fever pitch…

Less than five minutes to go…

What are rivals Ferrari up to?

They’ve built a car for this season that they say is ’95 per cent different’ than last year’s model, which saw the constructors finish third behind Mercedes.

But what does that mean? Here, Mail Sport breaks down the refreshed SF-24.

Checo shares his updated 2024 helmet design

The Mexican driver has gone with a touch of national flavour on top of the helmet, with his personal motto etched onto it too.

Technical director Pierre Wache sets the bar high for 2024

Apparently without mirth, the Frenchman shared with F1 that last year ; ‘We did a good job – but we didn’t do an amazing job’.

I think we identified multiple weaknesses in (RB)18 and we pushed for (the RB19) to solve them. We didn’t solve all of them, but fortunately the team were able to reduce the weaknesses we had and be able to deliver on track.

“The strength of our car is also the weakness of the competitors, because I’m not sure we expected to be alone there. What I mean is, when you look at the lap time and the behaviour compared to (2022), some people went backwards more than forwards.

I think it’s also – and you see clearly with McLaren with the step they did – I think some people lost their way between (2022 and 2023), more than us (doing an amazing job).

We did a good job – I don’t dismiss what the team have done – but I think it’s very relative in comparison. If some people were closer to us, you would say, ‘Ah, you didn’t have as good a car.’ And that’s what I mean.

How will his terrifyingly high standards rate this year’s model?

Red Bull senior advisor Helmut Marko breaks his silence on Christian Horner

Red Bull’s senior advisor Marko kept his response brief, but acknowledged the questions that have been swirling since news broke.

You can find out what he shared on launch day below.

Back-to-back (… -to-back) world champion Max Verstappen will be in attendance at the launch

… and he’s treated fans to a glimse of his 2024 helmet this afternoon.

No doubt he’s already plotting the redesign for next year with a fourth star-studded world title to add to the back.

The 50-year-old’s schedule has had the launch date pencilled in for weeks, and last Friday’s questioning by an indepdent KC isn’t going to see him shrink from his duties.

Mail Sport’s JONATHAN MCEVOY – who will be on duty this evening – has more below.

Good evening!

Hello and welcome to Mail Sport’s live blog covering the launch of Red Bull’s brand-new RB20 car ahead of the 2024 season.

The champion constructors – and triple world champion Max Verstappen – will be hoping for yet another successful campaign after last season saw the English team obliterate the competition for large swathes of the racing calendar.

But focus today won’t stil solely on the car. Instead, team principal Christian Horner finds himself an unwilling subject under the microscope, as he prepares to attend the first public event since news broke that his constructor were launching an internal investigation into his conduct.

The launch will kick-off at 7.30pm, but stick with us as we let you know more about Horner’s week in the spotlight, and the other cars that will hope to challenge Red Bull for the top spot this year.
