School shooting as 15-year-old opens fire in a car park and cops swoop
A teenage boy has allegedly opened fire at a private school, sending a nearby day care centre into lockdown.
Emergency services were called to Atlantis Beach Baptist College in Two Rocks in Perth‘s north shortly before midday on Wednesday, following reports a boy, 15, had allegedly discharged a firearm in the carpark of the school.
The boy was taken into custody by police.
A West Australian Police spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia there are currently no reports of injuries and that it was an ‘ongoing incident.’
It’s understood nearby businesses including a daycare went into lockdown following the incident.
Authorities remain at the scene.
