Paul McCartney’s (80) story is being filmed. In April 1970, the musician officially left the band The Beatles. After leaving his bandmates Ringo Starr (82), John Lennon (✝40), and George Harrison (✝58) behind, he focused on his solo career after the icy “divorce”. A new documentary should now show the turbulent beginnings of Paul’s creative work!
As Deadline reports, Oscar winner Morgan Neville will direct the documentary “Man on the Run”. The feature film will follow “Paul McCartney’s extraordinary life after the Beatles broke up ” and “how his love for Linda McCartney influenced his journey and led to the formation of the band Wings and more great music”. Morgan will have access to never-before-seen home video and photo footage from the archives of Paul and his late wife Linda, to be combined with new interviews.
This is not the first documentary about the popular mushroom headband. In November 2021, Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson (61) released the three-part documentary “The Beatles: Get Back”. In this, you can see, among other things, how George was almost thrown out of the band.
