Chelsea defender Malo Gusto has been in impressive form this season playing in the absence of club captain Reece James.
Playing near enough every game for the Blues since his injury, he has impressed a number of pundits in particular with performances.
Gary Neville is one who singled him out for praise recently, with Scott Minto actually describing him as ‘sensational’ after watching him play in recent weeks.
Gusto has proven to many that he is easily one of the best pieces of business the new ownership have done in their near two years at the club so far.
Alongside Cole Palmer, he has been one of only real consistent performers since coming in for his first season at Stamford Bridge.
Club captain James has unfortuntately seen the campaign not go to plan with his unfortunate record of injuries carrying on this season.
Gusto left out of France squad
However, the best compliment that can be paid to the 20-year-old this season is that they have not missed the skipper much at all based on the brilliant displays he has shown both in attack and defence.

With that being said, it seems he has not recieved the praise many will think he deserves with another international call-up.
The official announcement from the France national team has seen him not included, as well as fellow Chelsea defender Axel Disasi who was left out too.
This is despite the duo both being involved last time, and looking really impressive in the time since the last international break.
The right-back will instead be a member of the U21 side, who have games to come against the Ivory Coast and United States.
One player who will be representing their nation is Palmer, who is back amongst the England squad for the upcoming friendlies. He was joined in the squad by Conor Gallagher and Ben Chilwell.
