One Chelsea player has taken to training this week with a brand new haircut ahead of their next Premier League outing.
Shown by pictures on the club app, the complete new look will be seen on the pitch for the first time for the next game against Aston Villa on Saturday.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men will be looking to bounce back from two consecutive damning losses for different reasons, with the thumping by Arsenal following the hard-fought defeat to Manchester City in the FA Cup.
In both games they were guilty of missing a vast amount of chances, following on to the theme of the season for them.
The player who was unfortunately responsible for a large portion of these was Nicolas Jackson, with all the good work he was putting in around the rest of the game now going under the radar.
Finishing has been the Achilles heel since his £32m move last summer, with many calling out for another addition to the squad in that position.
However, the lack of other options in the squad in that position mean he is almost certain to continue in the side for the remaining games, starting with tomorrow’s clash against Aston Villa.
Nicolas Jackson new haircut
If he does feature at Villa Park, supporters will get a first look at a new hairstyle sported by the Senegal international, with him shaving it all off this week.
He was sporting a blue stripe in his hair in recent weeks, showing his allegiance to the club he is playing for.
Jackson found the net earlier this season in the FA Cup against Aston Villa in this exact fixture, with it being one of their best performances of the season up to now.
With hopes of a European place for next season fading away, it looks as if they are going to need to get some results on the board fast.
