Chelsea have officially confirmed that one of their players will be plying his trade at another club next season.

In the modern era at Stamford Bridge, loan moves away from the club have played an important role in the development of some players.

Last campaign saw a plethora of youngsters featuring elsewhere last season, and some certainly performed better than others.

One of the standout performers was Omari Hutchinson, who the club are now reportedly looking to make serious profit on this summer.

The Blues have had a core of young goalkeepers developing nicely over the last few years, which paid dividends when some of them were required to be on the bench last season due to the injury crisis that surrounded the club.

One of those who at a stage found himself on the bench was Teddy Sharman-Lowe, after he spent the first half of the season on loan with Bromley.

Opportunities have been very difficult to come by though for the 21-year-old at Stamford Bridge, with him being described as a ‘promising’ talent in the early stages of his time at the club.

Now, the Blues have confirmed on their official website that he would be on the move, with a season at Doncaster Rovers on the cards.

Being realistic, it looks very difficult to see the youngster breaking into the first team setup at any stage, even under new manager Enzo Maresca.

Reports have already been questioning who is set to be the number one under the Italian, with it being claimed that Robert Sanchez has been told he is part of his plans going into next season.

However, it was also said that in talks with the club, Maresca singled out Djordje Petrovic for praise, perhaps suggesting he does not yet know who will start the first Premier League game in August.
