Jack Grealish has deservedly been enjoying the celebrations after Manchester City completed a historic treble last weekend.
The popular England star played the full 90 minutes as Pep Guardiola’s men beat Inter Milan to win the Champions League.
Grealish has since been front and centre of the post-match antics as the team partied in Istanbul and took an impromptu trip to Ibiza.
The winger, who has been hailed as ‘a breath of fresh air’, is now back on English soil to continue the celebrations for the treble parade.
But with England’s Euro 2024 qualifier against Malta on Friday and most of Gareth Southgate’s squad already in training, what’s the plan for Grealish and the rest of his Man City teammates?
Is Jack Grealish in the England squad?
Grealish, John Stones, Kyle Walker, Kalvin Phillips and Phil Foden have all been included in Southgate’s latest squad.
The quintet are expected to report to England duty later this week having been granted extra time off after their European exploits.
However, a lack of training before the away game with Malta means Grealish in particular will likely not feature.
Phillips, having barely featured for Man City, has a chance but the other Man City players are set to be available against North Macedonia on Monday instead.
The full England squad for the upcoming international fixtures is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Sam Johnstone (Crystal Palace), Jordan Pickford (Everton), Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal)
Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace), Harry Maguire (Manchester United), Tyrone Mings (Aston Villa), Luke Shaw (Manchester United), John Stones (Manchester City), Kieran Trippier (Newcastle United), Kyle Walker (Manchester City)
Midfielders: Jude Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund), Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace), Conor Gallagher (Chelsea), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Kalvin Phillips (Manchester City), Declan Rice (West Ham United)
Forwards: Phil Foden (Manchester City), Jack Grealish (Manchester City), Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur), James Maddison (Leicester City), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Callum Wilson (Newcastle United)
