Chelsea fans raged over the condition of the Soldier Field pitch prior to their 1-1 draw against Borussia Dortmund.
The Blues faced the Bundesliga outfit at the home of MLS side Chicago Fire in their last pre-season tour outing in America.

But supporters voiced their concern ahead of the game, as they blasted the ‘dangerous’ pitch.
The grass at Soldier Field could be seen looking very patchy and dry, which sent social media into a meltdown.
Blues fans were quick to express their fear that one of their players could pick up an injury so soon to the start of the new Premier League season.
Replying to a picture on social media, one user tweeted: “This is horrendous. If we come away with injuries from our last pre-season game due to this.”
Another posted: “Don’t let anyone step on that field. I can smell ACL injuries and ankles being fractured.”
A third added: “Any injuries and we file a lawsuit.”
This fan then quipped: “The carpet at the entrance to my house is in better condition.”
Meanwhile one fan simply stated: “Play the C team. So dangerous.”
And this user commented: “We really need to keep Reece James away from that terrible pitch at all costs.”
One then messaged: “This is ridiculous. Please call off the game.”
The Chelsea fans proved to be right in their concerns, as Christopher Nkunku suffered a knee injury, resulting in him being taken off in the 22nd minute.
