AC Milan legend Clarence Seedorf has shown he’s still got it after rolling back the years with an emphatic goal at Stamford Bridge.
Featuring in the charity match for Game4Ukraine, the 47-year-old levelled up the scoring for Team Shevchenko.
West Ham icon Mark Noble opened the scoring for Team Zinchenko, but their lead didn’t last long, with Seedorf rifling a shot into the top left corner.
The four-time Champions League winner lashed his effort in from distance, with Jens Lehmann helpless as he dived towards the ball.
His teammates were left stunned by his strike, as actor Ralf Little mimicked shining his boots in celebration.
And it wasn’t just the players on the pitch that were blown away, with social media sent into meltdown.
One fan tweeted: “I’m sorry but this is just outrageous from Clarence Seedorf.”
Another messaged: “Clarence Seedorf rolling back the years in style.”
A third added: “CHRIST. See Clarence Seedorf still has a left peg like a traction engine.”
This Chelsea fan then quipped: “If we don’t get Caicedo just bring in Seedorf. The man is still a rock and that left foot is a [rocket emoji].”
And one then posted: “Clarence Seedorf still has the juice.”
Meanwhile another simply stated: “He’s still got it.”
Seedorf retired from football in 2014 after a two-year spell at Brazilian side Botafogo.
After making his name at Ajax, Seedorf, who also played for Sampdoria, Real Madrid, Inter and AC Milan, featured in 889 club matches in all competitions.
He remains the only player in history to have won the Champions League with three different teams.
