Fans have been left shocked by an apparent body transformation from Mykhailo Mudryk ahead of the new season.
The Chelsea star had a tough start to life in the Premier League after making the move to Stamford Bridge in January.
The Blues beat Arsenal to the signing of the 22-year-old Shakhtar Donetsk man, landing him for a fee of up to £88.5milion.
But in 17 appearances, he managed just two assists while his game-time was limited as the season went on.
However, Mudryk looks like he has not been wasting any time and has been hitting the gym hard.
And fans are convinced he looks completely different ahead of the season where expectations will be heightened.
In pictures of Chelsea’s new kit launch, Mudryk is looking bulkier while earlier in his Blues career some might have accused of him being lightweight.
Certainly not anymore, as his bulging biceps nearly ripped the new Chelsea shirt.
And fans were left stunned by the youngster’s body transformation ahead of pre-season under new boss Mauricio Pochettino.
One fan remarked: “Mudryk really putting some time into the gym.”
And another wrote: “Keep doubting him. Mudryk will prove a lot of people wrong…”
A third fan said: “Training hard he’ll cook next season.”
While this fan said: “He’s been doing some serious workout I see.”
Another simply put: “Damn my boy growing.”
And this supporter tweeted: “Mudryk stocks are rising.”
Despite a slow start to life at Chelsea, the powers-that-be at Stamford Bridge have high hopes for the Ukraine international.
The exits of Mason Mount, Kai Havertz and impending departures of Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic should offer the winger plenty more game-time this season.
And Pochettino has already explained that he will speak to Mudryk before pre-season gets underway.
The new coach is keen to get the best out of his young star, who has bags of potential but needs to be tapped into.
“It is to understand the circumstances how he also arrived,” Pochettino said.
“I think it’s not the same mindset and everything is different in the life of Mudryk than Enzo [Fernandez].
“That is why for us it is really important to spend time to talk.
“We were talking with Mudryk, I’m going to meet him before he comes to start pre-season, because he was in the Under-21 Euros and will join us when we fly to America.
“I really like to see and to know him to try to decide with the staff the best strategy to help him to be at the level that I think Chelsea when they signed him expected him to be
