Real Madrid ace Jude Bellingham’s reaction towards Toni Kroos’ piece of brilliance summed up the qualities the German posesses.
Bellingham has taken little time to adapt to his new surrounding after signing for Los Blancos from Borussia Dortmund.
The 20-year-old joined Carlos Ancelotti’s side for an initial £88.5m fee, with numerous add-ons taking the deal to £115m.
Bellingham recently netted his first goal for the club in a man-of-the-match performance against Manchester United.
Then, following a 3-0 defeat to Barcelona, he was once again on the losing side as Real Madrid lost 3-1 to Juventus in their final pre-season clash in the USA.
Despite the defeat, Bellingham was left in awe of Kroos’ sublime weighted-pass to Vinicius Jr.
The Brazil international then did the rest, finding the back of the net and making it 2-1.
Bellingham, though, was that stunned with Kroos’ ball, he could be seen applauding the Germany international.
The midfielder star in a 4-4-2 diamond formation alongside Kroos and Luka Modric.
“It allows us the opportunity to vary the system. I’m fine with not having a fixed system,” Ancelotti told Diario AS post-match.
“On an individual level we have learned the best quality of Bellingham, who is an attacking midfielder and performs better than as a central midfielder. We will have to see it during the season.”
