There will be a lot of attacking talent on display when Chelsea take on Arsenal at the Emirates tonight.

Cole Palmer is a doubt, but Chelsea still have the likes of Raheem Sterling, Noni Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk.

As for Arsenal, they will have Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard to name a few of their offensive players.

It should be a good game with both London clubs needing the three points.

Arsenal will want to open up a lead at the top of the Premier League table, while Chelsea are aiming to go level on points with Newcastle United, who currently occupy the second Europa League spot.

Joe Cole confident Mykhailo Mudryk can surpass Arsenal star

Despite being one of Chelsea’s most expensive ever signings, Mudryk has struggled at the club.

The winger has only been able to make 12 starts in the Premier League this season, scoring four goals across the 25 top-flight games he has played in total.

Nevertheless, Chelsea legend Joe Cole still believes that Mudryk could end up being a better signing than Trossard, who has been described as a “clever” player by Mikel Arteta in the past.

Speaking to The Athletic, Cole said: “I can see why Arsenal fans think that way now [Trossard being a better signing than Mudryk] but maybe in the future they won’t. Trossard has done a great job. He was brought in specifically to do what he is doing — but Mudryk could still end up being a better purchase. A lot will depend on how susceptible Mykhailo is to learning, developing and getting better.

“He has shown signs and glimpses. It is a huge jump to come from the Ukrainian league into the Premier League where the demands are [higher] and in a club which is not… it is not a stable time to be playing for Chelsea.”

Will Mykhailo Mudryk start against Arsenal tonight?

With Palmer unlikely to play, it is a possibility.

His absence would probably see Conor Gallagher return to the No.10 role, with the 24-year-old starting on the left in Chelsea’s 1-0 defeat to Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-finals over the weekend.

That would free up space for Mudryk to start in his preferred position, though there is always the possibility of Sterling getting the nod instead, while Madueke keeps his place on the right.
