Jack Grealish has confirmed that he’s survived Manchester City’s treble celebrations with a light-hearted post.
The England midfielder was a key part of City’s treble-winning side that saw off Inter Milan in the Champions League on Saturday night.
Since then, Grealish and the City squad have been on something of a bender.
Having celebrated into the early hours in Istanbul, Pep Guardiola’s side flew back to England on Sunday morning with very little sleep between them.
Grealish was one of them, having been seen in his full match kit in the early hours of the morning, before a large number of the group then jetted out to Ibiza for a swift celebration on the party island.
Partying in the Pacha nightclub, the squad then travelled back to the UK to take part in the trophy parade in Manchester, with Grealish once again stealing the show as he partied with Erling Haaland and his other teammates.
But with the party coming to an end, Grealish faces the gruesome task of pulling himself together and getting his head in the game for England duty with the Three Lions set to Malta and North Macedonia in the next week.
While concerned fans were jokingly worried about the £100million star’s wellbeing, Grealish took to Twitter with a brilliant image from the celebrations.
He wrote: “Hang it in the Loooouvre,” in reference to the hilarious clip of Haaland mocking Barnsley-born John Stones’s pronunciation of the French landmark.
It remains to be seen if he’ll be fit to start Friday night’s clash with Malta, which is live on talkSPORT, but Grealish will no doubt do his best to freshen up to give himself the best chance possible of being involved.
