A Manchester City fan was stretchered from his seat after collapsing at the Champions League final.

Images showed stadium staff carrying a fan towards the exit during a 0-0 first half against Inter Milan.

Journalist Sam Cunningham from the I tweeted photos of the fan being taken away from the stands as others around applauded.

He also wrote: “Manchester City supporter carried from the stadium on a stretcher.

“Appeared to collapse and was given oxygen by medical staff.

“Fans called stewards for help.”

The incident happened in the first half in Istanbul with scores level.
