Mauricio Pochettino will simply be hoping for more of the same when Chelsea return to action tonight in the Premier League.

He oversaw a dominant win over Aston Villa last time out in the FA Cup, booking a date with old rivals Leeds United in the process.

In fact, many will be of the belief that a big victory at Villa Park actually saved his job somewhat. It had been claimed in the build up that those on the board were divided on him.

There was certainly a tactical shift from the Argentine for the last game, with him finally getting a tune out of his expesnive midfield duo.

Many believed it was the best perfromance from both Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo, with the former putting in a player of the match display.

Pochettino will be looking to make as few changes as possible for the return to the Premier League tonight. However, there is one player who simply has to become a starter.

Christopher Nkunku’s return to fitness has been a bit of a journey so far, with him suffering a setback on the way.

However, with him looking close to back for good, he simply has to be in the 11 who start tonight at Selhurst Park.

There are a number of options for how to get him in too, however we would look for him to feature down the middle.

This is because Nicolas Jackson brought a completely new element to their attack when he started on the left wing.

His driving run eventually led to the first goal, scored by Conor Gallagher last week, and his brilliant header doubled their lead not long after.

This means the Frenchman is likely to come in for Gallagher or Cole Palmer, with it depending on how much of a risk the manager wants to take.
