Two Premier League clubs are among the leaders in the odds to sign Neymar this summer transfer window.

The Ligue 1 giants spent £197 million to acquire the forward in 2017 and are now set to accept a rumoured fee of around £70m.

talkSPORT BET’s transfer odds now have Manchester United as the big favourites ahead of Chelsea who were among the leading contenders when the initial rumours of a departure started in the 2022/23 season.

Barcelona are priced the same as the Blues at 8/1, but could still have difficulty signing multiple players after their financial issues at the start of the season.

The bookies aren’t ruling out potential shock moves for the 31-year-old either.

With Real Madrid, his former rivals, fourth in the market at just 10/1!

Neymar Next Club Odds (to sign before September 3rd)

  • Manchester United – 11/4
  • Barcelona – 8/1
  • Chelsea – 8/1
  • Real Madrid – 10/1
  • Any German club – 12/1
  • Any Italian club – 12/1
  • Manchester City – 14/1
  • Newcastle 16/1

Meanwhile, Man City are among some of the outsiders at 14/1 but are spoilt for choice in many areas including attackers and may not need to add to their already strong depth.

But summer moves could change that and with rumours his transfer fee is £70m it certainly opens up possibilities for a few clubs that are better off, such as Newcastle who are the rank outsiders at 16/1.

Any German club are 12/1 to sign Neymar by September 3rd, but with only a few Bundesliga outfits able to spend this big this year.

The likes of Bayern Munich do often sign pacey and skilful wingers with Leroy Sane and Sadio Mane recent transfers from the Premier League that represent similarities to Neymar.

But they have abundance of talented attackers able to play in the channels, with Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman as well – meaning if the odds do shorten considerably for Bayern or German clubs, there could be a big transfer move pending.
