John Terry has claimed Manchester City are the best team in the Premier League just hours before they take on Chelsea.
Man City host Chelsea on Saturday evening in a league clash at the Etihad Stadium.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side earned a point in a thrilling 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge during the reverse fixture, but it could be even harder after travelling up to Manchester this weekend.
The Blues have confirmed their starting line-up on X to play Man City, which includes two changes from Monday night’s win over Crystal Palace. Levi Colwill replaces Thiago Silva in the XI, plus Raheem Sterling comes in for Noni Madueke.
Chelsea legend John Terry has uploaded a message on social media just before his former club take on the reigning league champions. It sounds like he’s expecting a very tough day out for the Blues.
Terry wrote on X: “Tough game today away at Man City. I personally think City are the best team in the league, and are only just getting going. Shout out to our travelling supporters. Don’t worry, about a thing…”

But we should take some confidence from fact that Pochettino’s team often raise their levels versus the best opposition, so perhaps it’s not all doom and gloom yet.
Let’s hope Chelsea can cause a shock by ending Man City’s 11-game winning streak across all competitions.

Our guess is Chelsea’s players will need to be ruthless today against Man City with any attacking chances that fall at their feet. The likes of Conor Gallagher and Cole Palmer could provide just the answer!
