Chelsea missed out on Endrick to Real Madrid but could still end up signing another talented Brazilian youngster.
Endrick, who scored the winning goal in Brazil’s 1-0 win against England over the weekend, claimed last year that Chelsea were interested in him and that he was open to joining them.
Since being taken over by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital, the Blues have really tapped into the Brazilian market.
While they did not get a deal for Endrick done in the end, they have still signed the likes of Andrey Santos and Deivid Washington from Brazil.
And the club may not be done shopping there yet amid links with Endrick’s Palmeiras team-mate Estevao Willian.

Chelsea scouting Estevao Willian
Chelsea are keeping a close eye on Estevao and have been for a while, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Speaking to GiveMeSport about the winger, the Italian journalist said: “Remember the name Estevao Willian, playing at Palmeiras and on the list of big clubs around Europe for a long time. His release clause is around €60m (£51.4m) — this is the value of the clause, but I can guarantee once again that scouts from all over Europe, including Chelsea for a long time now, are travelling to scout this boy.

“Chelsea scouts have been in attendance since all the way back in October — the interest is there, even if there haven’t been any negotiations yet.
“It’s not easy to pay that kind of money, of course, and that is why, even though Barcelona are interested, they might not find it easy, as they also recently invested big money in signing another Brazilian gem, Vitor Roque.”
Who is Estevao Willian?
Born in Franca, Brazil, Estevao Willian is a 16-year-old winger who plays for Palmeiras.
He stands at 5 ft 7 and has appeared a few times for Brazil’s U17 side. Understandably, Estevao has little experience in the senior game.
It would be quite a gamble to spend over £50m on him and a bit far-fetched for some given that he is still only 16 years of age.
Chelsea will not want to miss out on the next big thing, though, especially after watching Endrick sign for Real Madrid.
It was claimed in January that Chelsea were willing to pay £52m to sign the Palmeiras youngster, so this could be something to keep an eye on.
