Chelsea have set their sights on FC Nordsjaelland star Mario Dorgeles as a potential transfer target.
That is according to a report from The Evening Standard.
Mario Dorgeles, who’s aged just 19, is currently playing his football in the Danish top division.
The left-footed midfielder is a key player for a FC Nordsjaelland side currently fourth in their league, plus they exited the Europa Conference League in the group stages this season.
The Evening Standard says that Chelsea, along with league rivals Arsenal and Newcastle United, are watching Dorgeles.
It is explained that the 19-year-old rising star is viewed as the next top talent to emerge from Nordsjaelland.
The report adds that there’s further competition for the teenager’s signature this summer from Brighton, Monaco, Lille, Lyon and Marseille.

Also, Dorgeles is ‘expected’ to leave his club at the end of the season.
He’s a popular profile right now with several top sides in Europe, but where will he end up playing his football next campaign?
Chelsea should look past Mario Dorgeles
In our view, the Blues should be focusing their attention elsewhere rather than a potential midfield star for the future. The addition of a prolific No 9 striker is our immediate suggestion.
Yes, Dorgeles is an exciting talent and credit to him for playing regular first-team minutes at his age. However, we doubt the Ivory Coast youngster is ready for our squad yet.
If the Blues want to add extra reinforcements in midfield next season, they’re better off looking at their academy or the youngsters doing well out on loan. For example, Alex Matos is a midfielder out on loan at Huddersfield Town that should before signing more young midfielders.
