The Chelsea players are in for a busy summer as they prepare for a trip to the United States to step up their pre-season preperation.

Enzo Maresca is set to lead his side into six games that will get them ready for the opening day Premier League fixture against Manchester City.

With the games coming thick and fast over a spell of two and a half weeks, the entire squad will get an opportunity to impress the Italian ahead of next season.

The Chelsea Chronicle have predicted how the Blues are going to get on in every game they will play this summer.

Chelsea vs Wrexham – July 25 (03:30 GMT)

The Blues kick off against familiar opponents, with them taking on the same opponents who got Mauricio Pochettino’s era at the club underway.

Wrexham will be looking to back up their status as one of the EFL’s rising sides when they take on Chelsea, however we will feel like the Blues will have too much in California.

Given it is the first opportunity for the players to show what they can do to Maresca, they will be hungry to impress in a week’s time.

Prediction: Chelsea 4-0 Wrexham

Chelsea vs Celtic – July 27 (21:00 GMT)

Less than 72 hours later the Blues will take on Celtic, a game Levi Colwill has already said he is looking forward to.

The Scottish champions will be looking to prove they can compete with the best the Premier League has to offer even if it is just in pre-season.

With rotation likely to be on the agenda, expect a far closer outing, but the Blues to make it two wins out of two in the United States.

Prediction: Chelsea 2-1 Celtic

Chelsea vs Club America – August 1 (00:30 GMT)

Another side Chelsea have taken on before, a Mason Mount stunner was all that seperated the sides when they met back in 2022.

By this point, Maresca will likely have an idea of who he wants to be starting when the Premier League season comes around.

However, with the magnitude of the opponent coming around the corner, there will again likely be an opportunity for some of the youngsters to make their mark.

Prediction: Chelsea 3-2 Club America

In a dress rehersal for the start of the season, the Blues will be looking to see how they match up against the best the Premier League has to offer.

Maresca will be coming up against Pep Guardiola for the first time since leaving the club, and will no doubt be looking to prove he can stand on his own two feet in management at the highest level.

While the result comes secondary to the performance, there will still be a number of players looking to see what they can take into the Premier League opener a couple of weeks later.

Prediction: Chelsea 1-2 Manchester City

Chelsea vs Real Madrid – August 7 (00:00 GMT)

After the Premier League champions, the games get no easier when Chelsea take on the Champions League winners in North Carolina.

In the last game of their trip to the United States, there will likely be a lot of starters on display from the beginning as they reach complete match fitness.

While Kylian Mbappe is not set to be on Real Madrid’s tour, the opposition will no doubt be of the highest quality.

Prediction: Chelsea 1-1 Real Madrid

Chelsea vs Inter Milan – August 11 (15:00 GMT)

The final game of pre-season takes place at Stamford Bridge, with the Italian champions being the final warm-up act before the Premier League gets underway.

The likes of Cole Palmer and Christopher Nkunku will no doubt be on display as they make their final case to Maresca that they should be starting this season.

With a home crowd behind them, expect the Blues to end the pre-season campaign with a win to keep excitement about the future at a high.

Prediction: Chelsea 2-0 Inter Milan
