Raheem Sterling received some stick from Chelsea fans during today’s disappointing result against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
However, Blues supporters will be generally upset with everybody following the 4-2 loss at home to Wolves.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side went into Sunday afternoon fresh off the back of a 4-1 loss away at Liverpool. Now, they’ve followed it up with another huge defeat in a Premier League match.
Cole Palmer put Chelsea 1-0 ahead with yet another goal this season, but it was all downhill after that.
Matheus Cunha’s hat-trick, along with an Axel Disasi own goal, saw the visitors sail into an unassailable lead at Stamford Bridge.
Even a Thiago Silva goal late on to make it 4-2 couldn’t inspire a comeback.
Journalist Bobby Vincent shared via social media that Raheem Sterling, 29, didn’t receive a kind reception when he was substituted off in the 72nd minute.

Vincent wrote on X: “Sterling being booed as he comes off.”
He then added: “Worth noting, not by everyone. It was a small minority but you could definitely hear it.”
Chelsea fall apart again
Wolves have now completed a league double over Chelsea this campaign, which for the latter simply isn’t good enough.
Pochettino’s side fell well short in both meetings with Wolves in the last couple of months, especially in this afternoon’s fixture at the Bridge.
For Sterling, he missed a great chance to score in the second-half. Aside from that, we didn’t see too much to be encouraged about from him.
If the £50m winger (Daily Mail) wants to stay in this XI, we feel he’s got to do much more and deliver more attacking output.
Max from LondonsFirst recently claimed that Sterling is becoming increasingly likely to be sold.
It’s a bad sign that sections of the fanbase are turning on him now. As one of the few senior figures in this very young squad of players, we do expect so much more!
