One Chelsea player’s wife does not seem to be Mauricio Pochettino’s biggest fan.
Mauricio Pochettino oversaw another humiliating defeat earlier today, with Chelsea losing 4-2 to Wolverhampton Wanderers at home.
During the game, Belle Silva, the wife of Thiago Silva, took to X to say it is “time to change”.
No one has covered themselves in glory at Chelsea this season, from the players to the manager, so Silva could have probably been talking about anyone.
However, we all know in football that the easiest person to get rid of is the manager, so you would assume that she is talking about Pochettino.
And looking at how this campaign has gone, he could have no complaints if he did get the sack.

Again, at this stage, you could not blame the Chelsea owners if they decided to.
That being said, the Blues can still win silverware this season and it may be worth getting to the end of the campaign with Pochettino and seeing what other managers become available before dismissing him.
These last two defeats to Wolves and Liverpool have been appalling, though. Any more and the club probably will have to consider sacking the former Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur boss.
Pochettino will point towards all of the injuries he has had to deal with and perhaps the lack of a truly elite No.9.
If he had Napoli talisman Victor Osimhen, for example, who has actually chosen to move to Stamford Bridge in the summer, according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, maybe the campaign would be going a bit differently.
Nevertheless, with the squad that he has, the 51-year-old should be doing a much better job. Being in the bottom half of the table and conceding four goals at home to Wolves is simply unacceptable.
