Reports have claimed that Todd Boehly is about to make an appointment to his boardroom staff in the coming days.
According to The Athletic, the Blues are set to bring in Josh Marsh from Swansea City to become loans manager at Chelsea.
Boehly has not been shy to make wholesale changes behind the scenes since taking over as owner of the club just less than two years ago.
The highlight hirings have been Laurence Stewart and Joe Shields, with the latter in particular having plenty of say in some of the biggest transfers made by the club.
Cole Palmer and Romeo Lavia have been named as two of the additions who are directly related to his role at the club.
If there is an area where the club have been particularly weak in recent months it has been in the loan department, particularly finding a club who will benefit their young players.
