Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has now been full of praise for one player who Chelsea sold to him last year.
He told the club website that he believes Jorginho has become the perfect role model for younger players coming through at the Emirates right now.
Jorginho put in a player of the match performance in midfield for the Gunners as they picked up a big 3-1 win over Liverpool in the Premier League.
Playing alongside Declan Rice in the middle of the park, he brought an element of calmness that helped bring Arsenal back into the title race.
Arteta was full of praise for the Italy international as his side made a big statement to those chasing the title.
He said: “Unbelievable. I’ve always said that he’s an example, a role model. He’s been in a lot of pain as well, because he has an issue that he’s been carrying for months.

“He didn’t want to stop, he’s been playing with that, he’s been training as the first one in and the last one out, and for all the kids, for everybody at the club, you want to look in the mirror at somebody, just look at him and how he behaves.

“He’s won everything, and if you ask him not to play, or to play one minute like last week, he’s happy to go there. You ask him to play 98 minutes at the rhythm and he’s able to do that, so I’m really lucky to have players like this.”
As they achieved this, Mauricio Pochettino and Chelsea were picking up the pieces of another big defeat, this time at home to Wolves.
Their own midfielder, Moises Caicedo, in particular had a tough outing, with some left wondering if they had actually strengthened their side for the extra money the spent on bringing him in.
