Journalist Matt Law has now shared what Chelsea are currently doing to look to tackle the injury problems at Stamford Bridge.
He told ‘London is Blue’ that the club have hired an unnamed figure who is working for them to attempt to remodel things in the face of a real crisis.
Chelsea have been hit worse than anyone this season when it comes to key players missing plenty of games due to injuries.

Chelsea struggling with injuries
Wesley Fofana has not played for a minute, whilst Romeo Lavia’s debut has also proved to be his final game of the season after developments this week.
They have also seen the likes of Reece James and Christopher Nkunku miss the majority of the campaign due to their own problems, leaving Mauricio Pochettino without a plethora of first team players at a time.
Even yesterday saw the long list added to with problems for Ben Chilwell, Robert Sanchez and Trevoh Chalobah.
Chelsea hire figure to try help injury crisis
Law has now stated that the club have now brought someone in to try and counter the ongoing issues.

He said: “What I do know, is there is somebody, and I can’t really publicise it, there is somebody who is very highly respected. People probably would know their name but they haven’t worked for Chelsea before.
“I’m told he is working with the club and for the club, trying to remodel the medical department, and is taking charge of hires and also the structure that they need. This person, I know their work quite well, and I would say they’re a good person to have involved.
“They have been working with them for a little while now, and I think it’s very encouraging based on what I hear.”
Any help that can be given to a club who are in a terrible way when it comes to an injury crisis will be a bonus right now.
However, they will certainly be careful in the transfer market now looking to sign players who have no history of recurring injuries, having seen what has happened to some of their top stars this season.
