Some Chelsea players have reportedly spoken to the club’s owners already about where they stand on Mauricio Pochettino.

It has been a difficult debut season at Stamford Bridge for Mauricio Pochettino, with Chelsea currently sitting in the bottom half of the Premier League table.

They dropped points once again yesterday, throwing away the lead twice against Burnley.

The game finished 2-2 despite Burnley playing the entire second half with only 10 men.

It was a day to forget for Pochettino and his team, though Cole Palmer did manage to impress, grabbing a brace. He was described as a “class act” by Sky Sports pundit Kris Boyd after dinking his penalty into Arijanet Muric’s net.

Chelsea players’ stance on Mauricio Pochettino

Right now, Chelsea supporters are understandably not happy.

Not being in the Champions League spots is one thing, but to find themselves in the bottom half of the table in March is hugely disappointing and cannot be ignored.

It also looks like some of the Chelsea players are not pleased either.

According to HITC, members of the Blues’ squad have actually made it clear to Todd Boehly and Co that they want Pochettino gone at the end of the season.

If Chelsea do go on to sack Pochettino, Barcelona manager Xavi is one name the Blues could reportedly consider.

Mauricio Pochettino not getting best out of Chelsea squad

It really would not be a surprise if Chelsea players are complaining about Pochettino. He is simply not maximising all of the talent that he possesses.

Of course, there are much superior teams to Chelsea in the Premier League like Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Qualifying for the Champions League was never going to be a straightforward task.

However, there is enough quality in this Chelsea squad for them to be higher in the table. Not getting the best out of it falls on the manager, who should be doing so much better.
