Andy Cohen, 55, insists he NEVER had a sexual encounter with close friend John Mayer, 45… even though they are ‘in love with each other’
Andy Cohen dished that he and John Mayer are ‘in love’ – but that their bond has never resulted in a sexual encounter.
The fact that they are longtime close friends and Andy is gay has led to wild rumors about the true nature of their relationship.
But during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show this week, Andy, 55, insisted that his affection for John, 45, has never gotten physical.
At Howard’s urging, Andy even swore on his children Ben, four, and Lucy, one, that he and John have never fooled around.
However Andy did tell the self-proclaimed King Of All Media: ‘I am in love with John Mayer. We are in love with each other.’

‘I mean, swear on your children’s lives there’s never been anything sexual between you and John Mayer,’ Howard said, and Andy agreed: ‘I swear.’
The two men are so close that when they met up the day after Thanksgiving last year, John matched Christmas sweaters with Andy’s mother.
Andy once traveled to Brazil to be with John for his 40th birthday, which occurred while he was on tour there in October 2017.
Although he and Andy have joked about their romance rumors, John is straight and has dated such stars as Jessica Simpson, Katy Perry and Jennifer Aniston.
He infamously called Jessica ‘sexual napalm’ in a sensational 2010 Playboy interview, ostensibly in a tribute to their chemistry.
‘Have you ever been with a girl who made you want to quit the rest of your life? Did you ever say: “I want to quit my life and just f***in’ snort you. If you charged me $10,000 to f*** you, I would start selling all my s*** just to keep f***ing you,”‘ he said.
Meanwhile Andy is a single father of two, currently juggling his chockablock Bravo career with raising little Benjamin and Lucy.
Appearing on the podcast Table For Two a few months ago, he said he was ‘open to’ a romance but joked: ‘Are people really looking for a 54-year-old guy with two kids?’

Andy recalled that John ‘very quickly in our friendship started saying like: “You know what? I gotta tell you something. I love you.”‘
