K-pop superstars BLACKPINK set pulses racing during their exhilarating performance on Saturday night at Coachella in Indio, California.
The megastars — Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa — made history as the first K-pop act to headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
The reaction from fans in the crowd and on social media was wildly enthusiastic after the South Korean girl group took the stage.

The group is currently on the road for their 2022/2023 Born Pink tour and added four stadium shows to their list of upcoming North American tour dates: East Rutherford, New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium (Aug. 12), Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium (Aug. 18), San Francisco’s Oracle Park (Aug. 22) and Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium (Aug. 26).
On Sunday, the group announced more North American dates on their Instagram Story with a pink poster and a link to where fans can register for ticket presale access, according to Billboard.
The tour, which kicked off last year, has already produced sold-out concerts in South Korea, North America, and Europe.
The quartet will perform two shows in Melbourne‘s Rod Laver Arena on June 10 and 11 and another two shows at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on June 16 and 17.

As the performers stepped onto the stage much to the delight of the anticipated crowd, the members all sported black and pink ensembles, in tribute to the name of their K-pop group.
Rose, who was born in New Zealand, donned a black laced ensemble that contained thin straps that wrapped around her shoulders.
A floral detail could be seen towards the low neckline of the outfit, where strips of pink fabric flowed downwards towards her knees.
A black belt with a gold buckle was wrapped around her slim waist on top of the flowy material. She slipped into a pair of combat-styled boots that contained white laces on the front.
Her long locks were parted in the middle and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in light waves. Lisa, who was born in Thailand, wore a pair of black shorts that contained corseted details on the front for a sultry flare.
The rapper of the group paired the shorts with a black cropped top that contained long, sheer sleeves that sparkled under the bright stage lights surrounding the stars.

Similar to Rose, ruffled pink strips of fabric flowed down from the waist of the LALISA hitmaker’s shorts as she performed numerous routines with her fellow members.
Jisoo also slipped into a pair of black shorts which contained pink ruffled strips of material wrapped around the waist.
She also wore a cropped, black and pink cropped that contained a high neckline which was bordered with rhinestone details.
Jennie had a bit of contrast to her look, and unlike the other three members, the singer wore a pair of hot pink shorts that contained sparkling details around the pockets.
The Solo hitmaker additionally donned a pink, corset cropped top with silver, glittering details on the boning of the semi-sheer top.
The Chanel ambassador threw on a black jacket with eye-catching details to layer her overall ensemble for the memorable performance.
A large strip of pink, lacey fabric flowed down from the left side of her shorts for a final touch to the look.
All four members coordinated their styles by wearing combat-styled black boots to make moving about the stage simple and easy. The members took to the stage to perform a number of their hits, such as Pink Venom.

As Coachella is North America’s largest music festival, the event organizers seemed to be selecting artists with an international reach this year.
Other international artists included Bad Bunny from Puerto Rico, Icelandic star Bjork, Spain’s Rosalia, Nigeria’s Burna Boy, and British-Indian singer Jai Paul.
Coachella booked multiple hip hop acts this year, including Metro Boomin, Pusha T, Kid Laroi, $uicideboy, A Boogie, Latto, Earthgang, Flo Milli, GloRilla, 070 Shake, and Rae Sremmurd.
Last year’s headliners were Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, the Weeknd, and Swedish House Mafia. Doja Cat, Lil Baby, Phoebe Bridgers, Megan Thee Stallion, and 21 Savage were there too.
