Catherine ‘Cat’ McNeil heralded the new year with an X-rated happy snap on Sunday.
Risking an Instagram ban, the Australian supermodel, 33, exposed her bare breasts while posing in nothing but black bikini bottoms and a chain necklace.
Kneeling provocatively in the sand, the Sunshine Coast-based beauty waved her arms around wildly and closed her eyes in a moment of apparent elation.

‘Happy new year to the world!’ the Vogue cover model wrote in her caption.

Cat’s fans rushed to praise her daring image, with one writing: ‘Happy new year kiddo. May everything sparkle around you.’

Cat’s fiancé, former NBA player Miles Plumlee, meanwhile posed a string celebratory emojis.

In November, the supermodel landed her first cover of Vogue Australia in eight years and declared her return to the runway will be ‘different’ now that she’s ‘sober, engaged and has found her identity outside of fashion’.
‘I feel like a completely different person to who I was three years ago,’ she explained in an interview with the publication.
‘I’ve grown up a lot and having my sobriety – that’s changed things in leaps and bounds.

‘I’m always pushing myself and I think that’s what’s kept my career going for 20 years, and hopefully it will still be going in 30, 40 years,’ she continued.
‘I love myself again. And that’s a big, important thing.’
Born and raised just south of Brisbane in Loganholme, McNeil first soared to fame in 2007 when she appeared on the cover of French and Australian Vogue and picked up campaigns for Versace, D&G, Jean Paul Gaultier and Donna Karan.

One of the few models sought-after for both editorial shoots and on the runway, she has also appeared in many high-profile catwalk shows during the 2007 season, including Balenciaga, Givenchy, Dior, Fendi and YSL.
Off camera McNeil had a brief but headline-grabbing engagement to Ruby Rose back in 2010 however the pair split before the wedding.
Cat announced her engagement to Miles Plumlee in June.
