EastEnders fans were left fearing for Stacey Slater on Tuesday as they believe they’ve rumbled Theo Hawthorne’s sinister ‘secret’.
The teacher (played by William Ellis) arrived in Walford earlier this year as part of Freddie’s storyline, but has been taking an interest in helping pregnant Lily Slater of late.
In the latest episode, Theo offers to tutor teenager Lily (Lillia Turner) for free as she takes time off from school with her pregnancy, but while mum Stacey is grateful for his help, Lily’s father Martin Fowler is suspicious as to why he’d help for free.
But the end of the episode left viewers left viewers convinced they’ve worked out Theo’s secret as he rushed out of the Slater home just as Stacey sat down to work on her racy OnlyFans-style webcam site.
The mum (Lacey Turner) had been struggling to make ends meet recently and turned to the online sex work as a means of earning extra cash – with one mystery client in particular paying extra cash for private sessions.

Taking to Twitter to air their thoughts, one wrote: ‘Theo is deffo the man paying Stacey online.’
While another shared: ‘Theo defo rushed off bcos he saw stacey’s message straight away. thought we was bout to get a scene where theo opens the message and finally reveal he’s the one who’s been talking with stacey the whole time! only a matter of time tho x.’

Earlier this year in a special flash forward episode, confirmed that someone form Albert Square is going to be killed this festive season.
A man was seen lying dead on the floor surrounded by six women – Denise (Diane Parish), Kathy (Gillian Taylforth), Linda (Kellie Bright), Sharon (Letitia Dean), Stacey (Lacey Turner) and Suki ( Balvinder Sopal).
In the scene as the women stood over the body, Sharon confirmed he was definitely dead.
Viewers currently have no idea whether it is murder or an accident but some clues from the scene have revealed possible theories.
In the coming months, more information will be given before the Christmas Day episode when all will be revealed about who the murderer is and who is dead.
However, some viewers shared that they think Theo is the victim and will be unveiled as the murdered character on Christmas Day.
