EMILY PRESCOTT: A Barbie blunder at ‘sexy pyjamas’ sleepover

Oh to have been a fly on the wall when the cast of the upcoming Barbie film organised a ‘sexy pyjamas’ sleepover at Claridge’s hotel in London – but forgot to tell one of the main stars about the theme.

So while Margot Robbie and director Greta Gerwig lounged about in silky nightgowns, poor America Ferrera looked like a granny.

Chatting about the experience for the Kelly Clarkson Show in the US, former Ugly Betty star America said: ‘Everybody was in really pretty, silky nightgowns and I was in the most grandma floral twin-set you can imagine.’

As a model hardly known for clean living, Kate Moss raised eyebrows when she launched her wellness website Cosmoss, full of talk about ‘inner peace’ and ‘soul soothing’.

Now her collaborator Victoria Young, a ‘homeopath and alchemist’, has told how the brand was inspired by ‘wild and unruly yet delicate and gentle’ cosmos flowers in Kate’s garden (and not, of course, the fact the global wellness industry is worth £2.8 trillion a year). Kate, 49, hadn’t planted the cosmos but they apparently ‘found her’.

Her range includes dusk tea, a natural aid to restful sleep. What contrast to another product Kate, right, promotes: Diet Coke!

Rumours of it being haunted meant Prince and Princess Michael of Kent snapped up their historic manor house for a bargain £300,000 in 1981.

But it seems potential buyers are less troubled by the prospect of ghostly companions at Nether Lypiatt Manor in Gloucestershire – in fact they are prepared to pay £11 million for their company.

The ten-bedroom pile, now owned by Labour peer Baron Drayson who bought it off the Kents for £5.75 million in 2006, is currently under offer.
